| Bio: |  Characters Rules Application Players Friend All After Remus Lupin became a war hero and died for his cause, some people's opinions of werewolves softened. Still, acceptance of muggleborns was already a lot for some wizards to handle and Fenrir Greyback's side in the war (along with the countless people he killed) turned some nuetral opinions of the affliction to negativity. Werewolves had been, until the war, a very uncommon kind. With Fenrir and his few allies able to run rampant, though not respected as they had hoped, many more victims of Lycanthropy cropped up. Now it is 2005. The war has been over for seven years. Laws are in place to protect muggleborns from hate crimes. Elves have been freed under new legislation pushed through by Hermione Granger as head of the Department for Regulation and Control of magical creatures. Some werewolves, half moons, and their families have been out since they were bitten. Others hide their affliction. There is now a Department formed to handle werewolf infection and a few loud protesters who want their kind exterminated. These are The Bitten. Though the game starts in 2005, the weather and moon phases as well as the day of the week to calendar will be from 2008. It just makes life easier!
